I painted Beauty and Grace while experiencing a level of supernatural peace during a turbulent season in my life.
This piece holds that contrast. There is beauty, but not because everything is perfect. There is grace, but not because everything is easy. The painting reflects the kind of peace that feels almost impossible to explain. The kind that meets you in the middle of uncertainty and gives you enough stillness to keep going.
The work is gentle, reflective, and spiritually grounded. It invites the viewer to consider the moments when grace has shown up unexpectedly. Not after the storm passed, but while the wind was still moving.
