The Story Behind the Piece

I painted Beauty and Grace while experiencing a level of supernatural peace during a turbulent season in my life.

This piece holds that contrast. There is beauty, but not because everything is perfect. There is grace, but not because everything is easy. The painting reflects the kind of peace that feels almost impossible to explain. The kind that meets you in the middle of uncertainty and gives you enough stillness to keep going.
